When I was speaking about this stuff in 2005 - 2010, the predictions were that by the year 2038, the government will double or triple everyone's taxes and/or cut all federal programs by 60%. Check out the materials written by David Walker when he was head of the GAO. Look for the Fiscal Wakeup Tour.
