Close Encounter
I was just driving down town (DC) and traffic became grid locked. Took a turn through an ally exiting on to Mass. Ave. Streets are blocked, fire trucks and equipment blocking cross traffic as far as I could see left and right. Red and yellow tape up including barricades. I thought “well this is what the training was all about” ok not really so dramatically but I did think about it and I asked a firefighter what was going on. High pressure gas leak.
But I felt good to know that I could have been helpful and not just a bystander or victim if there was an incident.
