There is a VERY COOL EXERCISE coming up that will be similar to the BWI EPLEX exercise that only comes around once every 3 years.
Here is your chance to participate before 3 more years!
Please email your name, phone number, email address, and confirm you are at least 18 years of age to Bethany Brown ( bbrown@arc-cmc.org), she will pass your information along to the exercise coordinators.
The Baltimore FCC is having their full scale exercise at BWI airport on Saturday May 12, 2012. The exercise is to have the National Disaster Medical System patient reception team receive medical evacuees coming on a plane from another state related to an event that requires evacuation. The exercise will start at approximately 8am. They would ask for participants to be there roughly 7:00-7:30am
Exercise would end at approximately 2pm. These are ballpark times, exact times would be given as soon as they have finalized a few more details. They would need persons for registration, victims for airport and for hospitals, there would be some moulage and some other actors to meet exercise objectives. They could also use persons to assist with handing out meals/water .
